Cairo – Mubasher: The value of top 20 non-oil industrial goods exported by Egypt during January amounted $1.221 billion, according to official data.
Exports included nitrogen fertilizers, monitor screens, isolated power cables and wires, and suits, the Egyptian General Organization for Export and Import Control (GOEIC) said in a statement on Thursday.
Moreover, the value of Egypt’s top 20 food exports reached $343 million in January, led by fresh and dry citrus, fresh fruits, frozen vegetables, and chocolate.
Arab countries topped Egypt’s trade partners in terms of the value of non-oil exports with $762 million, followed by European Union (EU) countries with $553 million.
