Cairo – Mubasher: The deficit registered in Egypt’s trade balance has decreased by 10.2% in September 2018 when compared to the same month last year, according to the latest data by the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS).
Egypt’s trade balance deficit stood at EGP 3 billion in September 2018 compared to EGP 3.35 billion in the same month in 2017.
CAPMAS added that exports increased by 21.7% to EGP 2.32 billion in September this year from EGP 1.90 billion in September 2017.
Imports to Egypt registered a rise of 1.4% to EGP 5.32 billion in September 2018 from EGP 5.25 billion in the same period a year ago.
