Egypt's trade deficit down 15.7% YOY in June

Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt's trade balance deficit declined in June 15.7% year-over-year to EGP 29.7 billion from EGP 35.2 billion, according to a statement by the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics on Wednesday.

The value of exports stood at EGP 17.1 billion in June, higher 15% from EGP 14.8 billion for the year-ago month.

Meanwhile, the value of imports saw a slide of 6.3% in the same month to EGP 46.8 billion from EGP 50 billion for June 2015.
