Mubasher: Egypt's trade deficit registered an increase of 6.2% to $3.40 billion in March 2018 when compared to $3.19 billion in the same month a year ago.
Egypt’s exports grew by 3.2% to $2.47 billion in March 2018, compared to $2.40 billion in the same month in 2017, local newspaper Al Shorouk reported, citing the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics' (CAPMAS) data.
Crude oil exports basket declined by 28% year-on-year in the third month of 2018, the state-run statistics agency noted.
Imports registered in March inclined by 4.9% to $5.87 billion when compared to $5.59 billion in March 2017.
