Egypt’s trade with Algeria reaches $429.2m in H1-19

Cairo – Mubasher: The value of non-oil trade exchange between Egypt and Algeria went up by 24.3% during the first six months of 2019, recording $429.2 million, according to a report released by the Egyptian Commercial Service.

Egyptian non-oil exports to Algeria increased to $293.7 million in H1-19, from $237.7 million the year-ago period.

Meanwhile, the value of most populous Arab country’s imports from Algeria rose to $135 million from January to June, against $86.8 million a year earlier.

Key Egyptian exports to Algeria included copper conductor and woven fabrics, while main imports included liquid propane gas, liquid butane gas, and electric conductors.
