Cairo – Mubasher: Egyptian transport minister Hisham Arafat resigned on Wednesday, following the fire accident that killed 20 people and injured 40 at Cairo’s Ramsis Railway Station, according to a cabinet statement.
Around 30 ambulances have transported the dead and injured to the Nasser Institute and Dar Al Shifa Hospital, Egypt’s health ministry reported.
Some of the injured were in critical condition and would require surgical intervention, the ministry added.
