Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s unemployment rate declined slightly to 12.77% of the country’s total workforce during the fourth quarter of 2015, compared with 12.84% in Q3-15 and 12.87% in Q4-14, showed data released by state-run statistics body.
The Central Agency for Public Mobilization And Statistics (CAPMAS) added that the estimated workforce amounted to 28 .3million individuals, up 1.2%, or 333,000 quarter-on-quarter and 2.4% or 654,000 year-on-year.
The number of unemployed individuals amounted to 3.62 million , a rise of 22,000 q-o-q and an increase of 54,000 individuals year-on-year.
