Egypt’s valU to inject EGP 380m funding by year-end

Cairo – Mubasher: EFG Hermes’ valU has injected investments worth EGP 300 million since February 2018 to date, the company’s chief business officer, Mohamed El-Shabrawy El-Feky, revealed.

The installment payment solution provider plans to increase its investments to EGP 380 million by the end of 2019, El-Feky told reporters on Monday.

Since the beginning of 2019, valU has obtained a funding valued at EGP 150 million from three banks, he revealed.

The company aims to finance education and health sectors in the current period, in addition to providing customers with the ability to pay premiums on installments.
