Egypt’s water utility approves EGP 100bn authorised capital hike

Cairo – Mubasher: Holding Company for Water and Waste Water’s (HCWW) general meeting approved increasing the company’s authorised capital by EGP 100 billion.

HCWW’s authorised capital will be raised to EGP 200 billion from EGP 100 billion, the state-run newspaper Al-Akhbar reported.

The state-owned firm produces around 30.1 million cubic metres of water per day, covering 98% of Egypt’s population, HCWW’s chairman, Mamdouh Raslan, said.
