Egypt’s yield on 273-day T-bills falls to lowest since 2016 - CBE

Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) on Sunday posted that yield on 273-day treasury bills (T-bills) dropped to its lowest since October 2016.

The average yield of the 273-day notes reached 17.9% and were oversubscribed 2.6 times, the CBE highlighted on its official website.

Meanwhile, the average yield of the 91-day notes fell to 18.9% and were covered 2.6 times.

The MOF announced earlier that it would issue T-bills worth 13.25 billion on Sunday.
