Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) posted that yield on 182-day and 357-day treasury bills (T-bills) declined on Thursday.
The average yield of the 182-day notes reached 18.92% from 19.24% and was oversubscribed 2.4 times, the CBE highlighted.
Meanwhile, the average yield of the 357-day notes stood at 18.05% and was covered 3.4 times.
Earlier this morning, the CBE announced that it would issue T-bills worth EGP 13.25 billion today.
Egyptian debt instruments are attracting a large number of foreign investors, especially T-bills, as the return on bonds exceeded 20%.
