Egypt’s yield on gov’t T-bills drops 7% - MOF

Cairo – Mubasher: The Ministry of Finance (MOF) on Monday posted that yield on five-year treasury bills (T-bills) declined 7%, compared to the last issuance.

The average yield of the five-year notes reached 15% from 16.15% and were oversubscribed 3.4 times, the MOF highlighted on its official website.

Meanwhile, the average yield of the ten-year notes fell to 15% and were covered 3.8 times.

The MOF announced earlier that it would issue T-bills worth 12.75 billion on Monday.
