Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Ministry of Finance (MoF) on Monday said that yield on treasury bonds (T-bills) declined to their lowest level in six months or since February 2017, with the average yield of the five-year notes dropping to 16.74%, data released by ministry showed.
The T-bills were 4.4 times oversubscribed, the MoF said on its official website.
Similarly, the average yield of the 10-year notes fell to 16.75 % and have been covered 2.7 times, the MoF added.
Earlier on Monday, the MoF said it was planning to issue T-bills worth EGP 1.5 billion.
