Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s Ministry of Finance (MoF) on Sunday announced a rise in yields on government treasury bills (T-bills).
The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) stated that the average yield of the 91-day notes reached 19.37% and have been covered 1.4 times, versus 19.05% in the previous issuance.
Meanwhile, the average yield of the 266-day notes stood at 19.22%, and have been covered 1.9 times, versus 19% in the prior offering.
The CBE had announced the issuance of EGP 13.5 billion T-bills on Sunday.
