Cairo – Mubasher: The African Development Bank (AfDB) has financed 50 projects in Egypt with $3.3 billion from 2015 until now, Middle East News Agency (MENA) reported, citing Egypt’s country manager of AfDb, Malinne Blomberg, as saying.
Funding was directed to several sectors including, electricity, energy, irrigation, sewage, agriculture, and small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), Blomberg added.
The projects included the $33 million Suez thermal power project and Abu Rawash wastewater treatment plant which has a daily capacity of 1.6 million cubic metres.
