Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt is currently building a new factory for manufacturing food in Beni Suef, according to a statement by the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI) on Friday.
At an investment cost of EGP 680 million, the new factory is set to be established over an area of 40,000 square metres.
GAFI focuses on creating a conductive investment climate by establishing several investment zones supplied with utilities, the authority’s executive director Mohamed Abdel Wahab said.
After launching three investment zones in El-Saf, Mit Ghamr, and Benha, GAFI currently considers expanding into other areas such as Beni Suef, he pointed out.
