Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Ministry of Planning, Monitoring, and Administrative Reform announced that 6,200 projects have been implemented at a combined cost of EGP 490 billion during fiscal year 2018/2019.
These projects include 32 national projects at a total cost of EGP 54 billion and 202 projects under ‘Decent Life’ social protection initiative with a combined cost of EGP 944 million, the ministry revealed.
A total of 34 projects have been built in Upper Egypt at a cost of EGP 222 million, while 4,400 projects at a cost of EGP 10.8 billion have been implemented under the local development programme of the country’s governorates.
In addition, 19 projects in oil and mineral resources sectors at a cost of EGP 277 billion, 244 projects in electricity and renewable energy resources sectors at a cost of EGP 76 billion, and 382 projects in the development of housing services at a cost of EGP 40 billion have been implemented during FY18/19.
