Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt's minister of investment and international cooperation Sahar Nasr inked on Sunday a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the Egyptian Businessmen Association (EBA) and the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI).
The minister met 40 Cypriot companies operating in the pharmaceutical, investment fund, agriculture, fish farming, and tourism sectors, according to a statement.
“The ministry is working on promoting investment opportunities in the Egyptian market and attracting firms and investors from Cyprus to establish their projects in Egypt, especially in the fields of renewable energy, electricity, agriculture, and infrastructure,” Nasr said.
Egypt plans to attract investments worth EGP 10 billion in 2016.
