Cairo - Mubasher: Egypt signed a framework agreement with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), according to a statement issued by the Egyptian ministry of International Cooperation.
The agreement was signed by the UNDP resident representative El-Mostafa Benlamlih, and the minister of international cooperation Sahar Nasr.
The new agreement amends the framework of the UN developmental aids, raising it to the level of a partnership between Egypt and the UN, it also aims at directing more funds towards the employment of youth and women, said the minister.
Around 20 international organisation working in Egypt will boost their efforts to support the country’s developmental programs in various fields, Benlamlih said.
