Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt has started establishing six technology universities in East Port Said, 6th of October City, Borg El-Arab, New Luxor - Tiba, Assiut, and Samannoud in El-Gharbiya Governorate, the Minister of Higher Education, Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, said.
The government previously built three technology universities in New Cairo, Quweisna, and Beni Suef, Abdel Ghaffar added in a statement on Thursday.
He stressed on the importance of supporting projects of governmental universities, including the IT infrastructure project which aims to automate and digitise universities.
