Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange initiated Monday's trading session in the red territory as the main gauge EGX30 declined by 0.97% to 7,393.8 points.
Likewise, the broader index opened lower by 0.29% to 778.7 points. And the equal-weighted EGX50 slipped by 0.96% to 1,346 points.Meanwhile, the small and mid-cap EGX70 moved up by 0.09% to 360.8 points.
CIB, the heaviest weight on the index, fell by 0.59% to EGP40.27 at 10:27am.
Trading value reached EGP40.5 million. Further, the bourse saw 41 stocks go up, 11 go down, and 24 stay unchanged.
Foreign and national investors were net sellers by EGP1.5 million and EGP128,000 in a row, while Arab investors were net buyers by EGP1,6 million.
