Egypt suspends large public gatherings on coronavirus fears

Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian prime minister Mostafa Madbouly announced the suspension of all large public gatherings to curb the spread of the new coronavirus (COVID-19).

All events that involve any large gatherings or those including the movement of people between governorates will be suspended until further notice, according to a statement on Monday.

The most populous Arab nation reported seven new cases of the new virus, bringing the total number of infections to 59.
