Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian government seeks to raise the issuance of debt securities by 6.4% in the third quarter of 2016 – 2017, said a recent report published by the Ministry of Finance.
The value of the total issuance reached EGP 299 billion, compared with EGP 281.75 billion for the similar period of the previous year.
The Egyptian government borrows through issuing both treasury bills and treasury bonds over varied time intervals.
