Egypt to appoint arrangers of euro-denominated bond sale in 2 weeks

Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt will select the banks which will manage the anticipated issuance of euro-denominated bonds within two weeks, Reuters reported, citing finance minister Amr El-Garhy.

The ministry will start a roadshow for the planned offering in a tour to Europe next April, El-Garhy added.

In February, the North African nation issued Eurobonds worth $4 billion which have been oversubscribed three times.

El-Garhy said last month that the Arab world's most populous country would start talks with European banks to issue euro-denominated bonds.
