Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) will offer treasury bills (T-bills) worth EGP 20.5 billion over two tranches on Thursday.
The first offering totals EGP 6 billion and holds a 182-day maturity period until 8 March 2022.
The second issue stands at EGP 14.5 billion and carries a tenor of 364 days until 6 September 2022.
The CBE’s last T-bills auctions were on 29 August when a total of EGP 11 billion worth of notes were offered.
