Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Ministry of Communications and Information Technology will begin the automation of health ministry’s services gradually to reach all governorates, the communication minister said.
The telecom sector grew by over 16% during the first quarter of fiscal year 2018/2019, state-run news agency MENA reported, citing Amr Talaat.
The ministry has started several digital transformation projects that will cover traffic services and the issuance of patents and authorising documents in coordination with the Ministry of Justice, Talaat highlighted.
He noted that the ministry’s digital services will be available through post offices in a bid to alleviate pressure on the Real Estate Registration Office, as well as through the online platform.
The ministry is planning to receive the citizens’ requests online in the coming period, along with launching a service to register marriage online, the minister said.
