Egypt to build 145,000 'social housing' units in 2016

Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt's President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi said Saturday that he ordered the housing ministry to complete the building of 145,000 units, under the social housing program for youth, in 2016 at a total cost of EGP 20 billion ($2.55 billion).

El-Sisi added that the step is part of the national project to construct 244,000 housing units for youth.

The statements came during the President's speech at the Opera House.
