Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian housing ministry has assigned the establishment of a classic city similar to ancient Alexandria in New El Alamein, prime minister Mostafa Madbouli said.
The city will be built over a 400-acre land under the name of the Latin Quarter, Madbouli added in a statement on Tuesday.
The construction of an integrated residential community spanning a 98-acre land has begun, as part of total 600 acres of the city, he highlighted.
The 8,000-acre first phase of New El Alamein city includes the international tourism centre and the monuments area, the PM said. giving no further details on the project's cost.
