Cairo – Mubasher: General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC) will a global tender to import unlimited volume of wheat during 10-20 December, according to a Sunday’s statement.
The GASC decided to buy soft and flour wheat from UAE, Canada, Australia, France, Germany, Poland, Argentine, Russia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Romania and Bulgaria.
The offers will be accepted until Tuesday, the GASC added, clarifying that it will announce the approved offers on the same day at 4:30am Cairo time.
The world largest wheat importer consumes 15 million tonnes of wheat annually.
