Cairo - Mubasher: Egypt is set to complete the state budget automation of all economic authorities by June 2022, the Minister of Finance, Mohamed Maait, said.
This move will help enhance electronic governance of revenues and expenditures and achieve budget targets, Maait added in a statement on Tuesday.
This is part of the Government Fiscal Management Information System (GFMIS), aimed at improving the efficiency of public spending at administrative bodies and ensuring that the financial allocations are not exceeded which will help limit debt and budget deficit rates, he noted.
