Cairo – Egypt: The head of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) mission for Egypt Subir Lall said that Egypt should receive the third loan tranche of $2 billion by December.
The IMF’s delegation will visit Egypt prior the current year-end to review the country’s economic reform programme, Lall added in a press conference on Tuesday.
The Egyptian minister of finance Amr El-Garhy said that Egypt would get the third loan instalment of $2 billion from the IMF in December 2017.
El-Garhy forecasted Egypt to receive a $4 billion loan during the current fiscal year.
