Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt can break off negotiations for a $12 billion IMF loan if terms and conditions are ill-assorted with the government's policy, said the Minister of Finance, Amr El Garhy.
On the ministry's official Facebook page, he tweeted that the government seeks the loan to implement the reformatory economic program, denying any unannounced conditions in respect to the financial reform program presented by the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
Earlier news reports, reported that there are a number of announced conditions regarding the IMF loan to Egypt, like laying off around 1million employees working at the public sector.
