Egypt to implement 450 wastewater projects in villages by 2022

Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s Holding Company for Water and Wastewater (HCWW) plans to set up 450 wastewater projects in villages by 2022.

The move comes along with the state-run company’s strategy to expand its projects across Egypt, Mohamed Salah, manager of the customer service at HCWW, told private Egyptian television channel TeN.

He noted that the company covers almost 34% of the Egyptian countryside’s wastewater needs and 90% of urban areas.

It is worth noting that the company has 350 branches across Egypt.
