Egypt to increase 92-, 95-octane gasoline output by 850,000 tonnes a year

Cairo – Mubasher: Alexandria National Refine and Petrochemical Company’s (ANRPC) new projects aim at increasing the production of 92-octane and 95-octane gasoline by 850,000 tonnes annually, ANRPC chairman Khaled Khalifa said on Saturday.

The project to establish two new Naphtha reforming units at ANRPC is aimed at doubling gasoline output, in addition to increasing Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and hydrogen output, the Middle East News Agency (MENA) reported, citing Khalifa as saying.

Khalifa further stated that 91% of the project had been completed, noting that it would be operational in September 2018 and opened in November, the MENA reported.
