Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s Ministry of Public Business Sector is looking to conduct a comprehensive development of equipment and production in the textile and weaving sector at a cost of up to EUR 1.3 billion.
The most populous Arab country is seeking an international partner for turning to an export hub of vehicles and encouraging domestic industry, public business sector minister Hisham Tawfiq said in a statement on Tuesday.
He also highlighted the major role of national shipping and trade firms in providing transport and logistics services for investors and delivering Egyptian exports to the African and European markets.
This came during the minister’s meeting with the head of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) Li Yong and his accompanying delegation.
