Cairo – Mubasher: Egyptian President El-Sisi said that electricity production is to be doubled in the near future through EGP400 billion investments.
On marking the beginning of wheat harvest season, the President said gross electricity generation is presently at 26,000 GW. Moreover, the government is racing against time to complete all planned electrical capacity-enhancing investments, he added.
Earlier, Egypt has signed a bunch of investments in the field of electricity with a number of countries, including Saudi Arabia, France, and Japan.
