Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt will issue US dollar-denominated bonds worth $3 billion to $4 billion by the end of January 2018, Egypt’s finance minister Amr El-Garhy said.
El-Garhy added that the ministry will start the Eurobond roadshow within the second half of January at a number of European and American markets, as well as other suggested markets such as Asian markets, according to Alborsa News.
The minister had previously announced that Egypt is currently working on preparing an $8 billion international bond programme in coordination with different global stock markets.
Egypt has succeeded in issuing US dollar-denominated bonds worth $7 billion during the first half of 2017.
