Cairo - Mubasher: Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi said that Egypt is planning to open the first stage of the new administrative capital, which is currently under construction, by the year 2018.
However, the whole project is expected to be completed within five to six years, El-Sisi told the chief editors of state-owned papers in a recent interview.
A Chinese company has made a request for 16 feddans in the new capital to construct a smart city and an information and bio technologies hub, added El-sisi.
