Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s Holding Company for Maritime and Land Transport plans to launch a shipping line connecting Ain Sokhna to East African countries, the company’s chairman said.
The new shipping line will serve six countries as well as landlocked countries in Africa, Salah El-Din Helmy added.
The project aims to transport goods, provide exporters and importers with logistical services, and boost intra-African trade, he noted.
Additionally, the company is also seeking to re-launch the Ro-Ro shipping trade line between Egypt and Europe, Helmy revealed.
