Abu Dhabi - Mubasher: The Egyptian minister of petroleum said the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) will award contracts for nine to ten oil and gas projects before the end of the year.
Tarek El Molla added on the sidelines of the Abu Dhabi Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC) that Egyptian companies will not be authorized to import natural gas from Israel until the arbitration cases are reviewed and resolved.
The minister expects production in the Zohr gas field to begin before the end of 2017.
