Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s minister of finance Amr Al-Garhy said Tuesday that the customs exchange rate for the US dollar will be lowered to EGP 15.75 from EGP 16.
The new exchange rate will be applied as of 1 March and remain in place until 15 March, Reuters reported.
The Egyptian Ministry of Finance earlier adjusted the customs exchange rate for the US dollar at EGP 16, down from EGP 18.5.
