Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt will take part in the G20 summit to be held by the end of June in Japan’s Osaka as the North African nation took up the presidency of the African Union (AU), Egypt’s minister of trade and industry, Amr Nassar, said.
The Egyptian government aims to enhance economic, trade, industrial, and investment relations with Japan in the coming period by transferring the Japanese experience in industrial fields, especially advanced technology sectors, to Egypt, Nassar added in a statement on Thursday.
In 2018, bilateral trade between Egypt and Japan rose by 30.5% to $1.26 billion, compared to $969 million in 2017.
