Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt will start promoting intentional bonds worth $3 billion to $4 billion by the beginning of 2018, minister of finance Amr El-Garhy remarked from Washington.
Promoting for these bonds will start from January or February 2018, El-Garhy added.
El-Garhy noted that he attended meetings with investors and major banks, pointing out that they are highly interested in investing in Egypt.
The minister stressed last Saturday that Egypt plans to issue dollar-denominated Eurobonds in the first quarter of 2018 as an alternative source of funding.
