Cairo - Mubasher: The Egyptian finance minister Amr El Garhy revealed on Wednesday that it is expected for Egypt to receive the second tranche of the International Monterey Fund’s (IMF) loan in June.
The minister noted that negotiations with the IMF has been going well, including the follow up on the progress made in regards to fiscal goals, legislations, and the economic reform programme.
Currently, an IMF delegation is visiting Egypt to discuss the agreed upon economic reforms in order to release the second tranche of the $12 billion loan, which amounts to $1.25 billion.
