Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian government announced that airports at coastal governorates with the lowest coronavirus (COVID-19) infections will be reopened for flights and tourists by the beginning of July.
The country also decided to extend the nighttime curfew for the next two weeks for run from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m, according to a statement on Thursday.
From 1 June, Egyptian hotels have been allowed to operate at a capacity of 50%, after reopening for local guests at a 25% capacity during May.
Hotels are required to implement several measures to protect the guests against the new coronavirus.
The number of COVID-19 infections reached 38,284 after the Ministry of Health announced the detection of 1,455 new cases on Wednesday. The total death toll amounted to 1,342, while the number of recoveries registered 10,289.
