Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt is planning to establish eight technological universities in coordination with Italian, South Korean, and German universities, higher education minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar said on Monday.
The Ministry of Higher Education is currently working on the construction of King Salman University, Abdel Ghaffar added.
The ministry aims at boosting the number of private universities to 51 universities from 23, he indicated.
The minister further noted that six international universities in the New Administrative Capital are under the ministry’s supervision.
