Cairo – Mubasher: The Suez Canal Economic Zone's (SCZone) Chairman, Yehia Zaki, said that the operational contract for the Russian Industrial Zone in Ain Sokhna is expected to be signed by the end of 2021.
Zaki welcomed a delegation of representatives from the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade and National Development Institution as well as Russian companies willing to invest in the zone, according to a statement on Monday.
The Russian industrial zone will be expanded between East Port Said and Ain Sokhna. The first phase of the project includes 1 million square metres(sqm) in East Port Said and 500,000 sqm in Ain Sokhna. Work in the industrial zone is expected to begin by the end of 2021.
