Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt is expected to start procedures to issue international bonds at the end of May or start of June, minister of finance Amr El-Garhy said on Sunday during a press conference.
El-Garhy noted that negotiations are taking place with the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) to set the appropriate date for the issue.
Total foreign investments in treasury bills rose in the three months ended on 30 April 2017 by $4.1 billion to $5.5 billion, the minister added.
