Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt and Pakistan’s economies are expected to surpass the Canadian and Italian economies by 2050, according to the Financial Post newspaper citing a report by PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).
The report, published on Tuesday, expected Egypt’s economy to jump to the 15th place from the 22nd place the list of the world's largest economies, while Canada is forecasted to move to the 22nd place from the 17th place.
Pakistan’s economy is expected to move to the 16th place from the 24th place.
The Financial Post described the PwC’s forecasts as ‘brave and incredulous’.
