Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian government announced transferring 2,745 artifacts to the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) and restoring another 3,166 artifacts, which led to creating 4,500 jobs during the first half of the fiscal year 2018/2019.
About 89% of the GEM's total engineering works have been completed, while construction works have been totally finalised, the government said in a report.
In addition, 41 missions unveiled 44 archaeological discoveries in Giza, Alexandria, Dakahlia, Minya, Luxor, and Aswan, in addition to restoring 26 artifacts from abroad.
